   ROLE OF CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER (CIO)

1. Leading change through ICT Strategic Plan (ISP) Alignment for the Agency with the needs of the National Development Plan, Strategic Plan of the Ministry / State / Agencies and Public Sector ISP;
2. Implement and coordinate the use of policy, standard and global best practices;
3. Coordinate promotion of ICT Culture (ICT acculturation) Delivery System in Public Sector Services; and
4. To implement and coordinate the application of Electronic Government Innovation, Infrastructure and ICT Security.
