Memorandum Of Understanding Between Association Of Indian Universities And Malaysian Qualifications Agency On Mutual Recognition Of Equivalence Of The Educational Qualifications


The Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Mutual Recognition of Equivalence of the Educational Qualifications with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), India on April 1, 2017 in New Delhi, India.

Objective

The main objective of the MoU is to strengthen educational exchanges and cooperation between Malaysia and India by mutually recognizing degree qualifications (Bachelor, Master and Doctorate) in a wider range of disciplines (Social Science, Natural Science, Humanities, Engineering and Technology, Agriculture, Business Administration and Commerce), of recognised/ accredited Higher Education Providers (HEPs) in both countries, as equivalent.

Date of Enforcement

The MoU entered into force on April 1, 2017.
