
The Government of Malaysia and the Government of the People's Republic of China (PRC) signed the "Framework Agreement to Facilitate Mutual Recognition in Academic Higher Education Qualifications" (the Agreement) on April 28, 2011.
The main objective of the Agreement is to promote cooperation in higher education and to facilitate student mobility between both countries.
For the purpose of implementing the Agreement, the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia has adopted a list of 820 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in PRC. Please click below to view the list:
Degrees (bachelor, master and doctorate) awarded by these HEIs are recognized by the Government of Malaysia. Application of this recognition is also subject to the existing regulatory undertakings and requirements of the HEIs, professional bodies, government agencies and non-governmental organizations in Malaysia.
The Agreement entered into force six (6) months after it was signed.
