VISIT BY UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, YEMEN

 

On 16 August 2010, the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) had the pleasure to welcome a delegation of six officials from the University of Science and Technology, Yemen (USTY).

The delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Dawood Al-Hidabi, the university Chairman, includes Dr. Hussein Al-Bahji, Mr. Khali Yaser, Mr. Adbul Lateef Mosleh, Mr. Abdul Wahab Al-Maamri and Mr. Muhamad Hazaa.

In the meeting with Prof. Zita Mohd Fahmi, Deputy CEO of MQA, the delegates were given insights into the current external and internal quality assurance in Malaysian Higher education system, the use of program standards and implementation of MQF.

The meeting ended with MQA welcomed USTY intention to get further advice and assistance from the agency in strengthening their Internal Quality Assurance.
