VISIT BY KING MONGKUT UNIVERSITY, THAILAND

 

On the 13th August 2010, MQA had the pleasure to welcome a delegation from the King Mongkut University. The 16 delegates headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Pornapit Darasawang were on information visit which also included several local public universities.

In the meeting with Dato’ Dr. Syed Ahmad Hussein, CEO of MQA, the delegates were given insights into the current good practices in assuring the quality of higher education, standard setting practices and the MQF implementation. The delegates also shared on the current development on general education implemented under the Thailand Qualifications Framework system.

The meeting was also attended by Prof. Zita Mohd Fahmi, Deputy CEO for QA and a few MQA senior officials. The meeting ended with MQA offering assistant to engage the delegates with local universities for collaboration in the Internal Quality Assurance area.
