Associate Members are organizations with a major interest and active involvement in evaluation, accreditation, quality assurance or quality promotion in higher education as approved by the Executive Committee.

Associate Members of AQAN are the following organizations:

1. ASEAN University Network  
2. Southeast Asian Ministries of Education Organization Regional Institute of Higher Education and Development  
3. Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Training Center
