The Association of Quality Assurance Agencies of the Islamic World (AQAAIW) was formally established on May 4, 2011 in an effort to promote and enhance quality higher education in the countries of the Islamic world.
By adopting the Kuala Lumpur Declaration 2009 and the AQAAIW Constitution, all participating agencies and ministries agree to work together under the AQAAIW umbrella towards the enhancement of quality in the higher education in countries of the Islamic world.
